Help UW Seattle Save Energy: Install PC Power and Patch Management Software

Patch_60Did you know you can improve your computer system’s security while saving energy at the same time? At UW Seattle, faculty and staff can download IBM’s Tivoli Endpoint Manager (TEM)—PC power and patch management software—to manage power usage on their UW-owned Windows computers. TEM also patches some of the most common software packages including Firefox, Skype, and iTunes, all while supporting the UW's commitment to carbon neutrality as part of the UW Climate Action Plan.
