A new central file storage is now available for UW students, faculty, and staff at no additional cost, supported by the Student Technology Fee and the Technology Recharge Fee. This new “U Drive” service offers 5GB of general-purpose, backed-up storage for electronic files.  It is activated automatically for students. Faculty and staff need to activate their U Drive, and may increase the amount of storage with a UW budget number. The storage is accessible via standard protocols.
